CHURCH AT THE HEART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Situated right in the town centre at the corner of Pinchbeck Road, Spalding United Reformed Church is a friendly, welcoming church, which holds a variety of events and gatherings for all ages throughout the year. We meet every Sunday at 10.30am, lead, as well as by by worship leaders of different backgrounds and life experiences.

For our younger friends, we also have a children's area at the rear of the sanctuary with games and toys. Fully DBS checked church members also lead Sunday school activities, so that young people can join in the service and leave for their own activity time later on.

There's plenty to do for all visitors and new friends. Prayer & Discussion Group, The Friendship Group, Craft Group and the Wednesday Walkers (during the warmer months!); and for our younger friends there's Girls' and Boys' Brigade, the Marching Ambassadors and Junior Church for all ages on a Sunday morning. Whatever your cup of tea (or coffee!); we hope you'll feel very welcome here at Spalding URC.

Every Saturday we hold a Coffee Morning serving tea, coffee and a selections of cakes - why not stop by to recharge tired arms and feet while you're taking in the sights and shops of the town centre.

OUR FAMILY

Christuskirche, Speyer, Germany

The Spalding-Speyer town partnership goes back many, many years, and Spalding URC is one of many groups in the town who celebrate links with them. In 2017 we celebrated our 36th anniversary with our 19th visit to Christuskirche church in Speyer, spending a lovely weekend with old and new friends there. This time we were taken to the town of Idar-Oberstein, as well as individual excursions over the 4 day visit with our respective hosts. The next visit will see us host our German friends in 2019.

The South Lincs Pastorate

From 2016-202, Spalding URC had a joint pastorate with Boston URC and Bourne URC, sharing many services and special events together. To find out more about these churches, follow the links on our 'Contact Us' page.
