    Walks of a reasonable length and

    tested beforehand for terrain and

    obstacles! All invited.

Saturday - Coffee Morning - 9.30am to 11.30am

     Coffee Morning. Stop by for tea,

     coffee, or a tempting section of

     cakes and pastries and chance

     for a catch up.

 It's nearly that time of year again... get your Christmas shopping done early AND support a local good cause at Spalding URC's CHRISTMAS FAIR 2024.

* Craft supplies and homemade gifts

* Plus local small businesses

PLUS keep refreshed as you shop - our usual coffee morning drinks available, plus lunch at a great price - soup, rolls and jacket potatoes will be available to eat in.

CHRISTMAS FAIR 2024

Save on your postage this year to members and friends of Spalding URC by posting their cards to the Christmas post box. All cards will be sorted after closure on 20th December, and will be available to collect on Sunday 22nd December. 

This service relies on volunteers to sort, and drive round to deliver (if the recipient cannot get to church themselves) the cards. Please leave a small donation in the donation slot in the box when you post your mail - you are still saving on the cost of postage!

Coffee, Cake & Chat ~ Coffee Morning 

Saturdays 9.30am-11am

                                                 

When you're wandering around Spalding town after a long day's shopping, or just wanting to pick up a treat on the way, our hall will be serving tea (flavoured optional), coffee (decaffeinated available) and a  range of snacks at very reasonable prices.

Boys' Brigade and Girls' Brigade

Mondays during term time - 6pm

4th, 11th, 18th & 25th November

Our Girls' and Boys' Brigades both meet on a Monday night during term times, Boys' Brigades age groups still beginning at their usual times. Whether you're here to n:vestigate, n:gage and n:spire with the GB or explore with the BB through body, mind, spirit, community and creativity - come along and find out what it's all about! Friendship Group ~ 

first Tuesday of the month, 2pm - 4pm

It's time for a new year of interesting afternoons on all sorts of different  topics, and this year we're even more excited to be back meeting  again in person. New friends are always welcome to join us for our range of talks, activity evenings and group outings, always followed  by some refreshments to round off the session. No membership required, just £3 per visit, which includes refreshments. Contact the Webmaster for more information.

Spalding Marching Ambassadors ~ 
Wednesdays - 6pm/7pm*

Something for your diaries... Friday 13th December is our end of year showcase! Come and hear a variety of songs played by our top quality musicians.  7pm-8.30pm.

Want to join an award-winning local ma
rching band? Or just start by learning a new instrument alongside a friendly group of people? We meet weekly, practising for regular competitions and events. 

Membership is just £1 a week
FREE use of instruments
Instrument tuition included - all levels of ability welcome from beginner to advanced!
Ages 9 and up welcome.
Make new friends & build teamwork skills.

Prayer Group (Zoom) ~

This is our Resource Area Prayer Group, with members from all the churches. It is open to all who would like to pray for the mission of our churches and communities, to see Jesus’ good news shared in word and action.  For more information, contact the Minister on the email address on our contact page.

Thursday Walkers (& Talkers) ~ 
Thursday 14th November, 10.30am
 
Our walking group go out to a variety of places around Spalding and beyond, exploring the beauty of the county we live in, whilst not making the routes too challenging for those that prefer a more relaxing pace. Walks are of a reasonable length and tested for terrain and obstacles such as stiles beforehand . We always finish somewhere we can enjoy some well-earned refreshments together afterwards too. If you want any further details on any of the walks, just drop us an email.
